The $750m Waikeria Prison build in Waikato has Turfrey undertaking one of the largest and most complex roofing projects in New Zealand. Turfrey are contracted to carry out the supply and installation of all roofing and seismic and expansion joints inside the high security fenced arena. This includes 15 buildings, and more than 45,000m2 of Rooflogic built-up warm roofing. Thousands of metres of metal fascias, metal soffits, and many hundreds of metres of seismic joints are being installed by the company in an environment where health and safety, security and documentation expectations are high.
